Cancer and chronic illness care and revalidation
As a naturopath I find it very important to be able to help everybody who comes to my practice and give them the moments of attention, relaxation, care and advice which they deserve. When one hears the news of a serious ailment it brings a lot of stress and anxiety which certainly doesn't help to reinforce your body and activate your self healing mechanism.
On the one hand I give massages for people who have cancer or other chronic diseases to help them relax and have tense free and moments without worries. On the other hand I give food therapy sessions to help them have a balanced and nutrional diet to reinforce their immune system. A special tailored menu is made for everybody's personal needs.
Touch and care massage
This massage technique is especially designed for elderly people, people with cancer or chronic diseases. The purpose of this massage is to experience deep moments of relaxation through warmth and touch which in it turn has a deep impact on your body and mind. This massage is the opportunity to give your body positive energy, nourishment, love and affection which it needs during the hard times of remission. Usually in times of illness your body needs touch in order for you to accept your new state of being. By relieving your bodily discomforts and experience loving touch you will automatically feel more relaxed and positive.
The purpose of this massage is especially to let people 'come back home' in their body and rebuild a positive relationship with your bodies. Because of the deep relaxing effect and energetic touches this massage is also beneficial for people who are in a burnout because they have to learn to get back in touch with themselves rather than linger in their minds.
What is food therapy and why can it be very useful when healing yourself?
To me being healthy is first of all feeling happy and balanced. I strongly believe that there is a connection between what you eat and how you feel. Imagine that your body has to deal with breaking down all kind of crap you feed it. Of course this affects you and your moods. I always emphasize the difference between food that comes from nature and that is natural to foods which are produced and processed in factories. The healthier you eat closer to what nature has to provide the better you will feel as you are not overloading your body with toxins
In times of healing and remission it is especially important to eat the right kinds of food so that you dont overload your body and your healing process can happen faster.
During this session you will learn about different kind of foods and which one suits you the best as well as which supplement can support you in order for you to boost your immune system and fight of the disease.
